Sarah Jane O'Donnell
SJ holds a BFA in performing arts and theatre education from Emerson College, Boston. She has had the pleasure of founding and artistically directing Gibson Theatre School in Alliston from (2010-2012 ) and working with the Arlington Children’s Theatre and Theatre Orangeville Youth Outreach. SJ's passion is working with youth in the arts and she loves helping each actor find their best work. Watching her students grow in confidence and skill has been incredibly rewarding. SJ has been seen on stage through various production companies and is no stranger to working behind the scenes as writer and director on numerous projects both at Crazy Pants and beyond.
Director/Choreographer/Prime Minister of Comedy
Debbie has been a performer in musical theatre for over 25 years, as a singer, dancer and actor in shows such as Jolson (E&B Productions), A Chorus Line (Limelight Theatre), and The Producers (Mirvish, Neptune, and Stage West). She also holds a letter of standing in dance and taught for six years at Claude Watson School for the Arts.
She was assistant to the artistic director in the Skydome Opening Ceremonies and has written and produced The Judy Garland Story, Mixed Doubles, Debbie's One Woman Show, Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree, and The Radio Show. Deb choreographed the half time show for the Grey Cup at Skydome and Mary Kay industrial shows. She has had the thrill of performing for Canadian troupes both overseas and in the Arctic. Deb has also done extra work in films and has performed in various television shows. Recent acting and directing credits include productions at Theatre Orangeville, Orillia Opera House, South Simcoe Theatre, and Stirling Festival Theatre, Gibson Theatre School, and the 2017 North American Tour of Saturday Night Fever.
Richard earned his Theatre Honours degree from Brock University but his affection for the stage started at a much younger age. Varty has worked as an Actor, Writer, Director, Producer, Stage Manager, and Fight Choreographer for several companies over the last few years and is delighted to be joining the ranks at Crazy Pants. For over a decade, Richard has been an improviser which has taken him from Barrie to New York and many places in between. He has spent the last few years concentrating on long-form improvisation and facilitating workshops throughout Ontario. Richard looks forward to every opportunity to work with aspiring artists and to continue the improv mantra of 'Play - Share - Explore'.
Suu is a graduate of the University of Windsor and has been teaching voice and piano for over 20 years. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in solid technique and the healthy production of sound. Her students have successfully auditioned at post secondary institutions for classical voice & musical theatre as well has having received awards at music festivals. Crazy Pants is excited to have Suu working with both our summer musical cast and Broadway Bound.

Sarah has training in both acting and vocals. She is currently studying Dramatic Arts & Education at the University of Windsor. As a former Crazy Pants Actor she is excited to be training the next generation of amazing young actors at Crazy Pants.

Alicia is an award winning actor and graduate of Banting Memorial High School. She has been immersed in the world of theatre since age 9 and has been involved in over 20 productions both on stage and off as an actor, stage manager, and techie. As of September she will be taking on the city of St. Cathrines as she heads off to attend to Brock University, majoring in performing arts studies. Alicia has been with Crazy Pants since it opened as an actor and volunteer and is so excited to join as an official staff member.

Michael has worked professionally in music, dance and theatre as a Producer, Director, Musical Director, keyboard player, studio musician and actor for over 35 years, and has been a part of more than 200 different theatrical productions. As a pianist, organist and choral conductor, Michael has performed widely in Canada, the USA, England, France and Italy. He is also a longtime member of the Faculty of Fine Arts, York University, Toronto. Michael's family is afraid that after spending so many years in darkened theatres, rehearsal halls, recording studios and orchestra pits, exposure to direct sunlight could be fatal!
Summer Production 2017 Choreographer
Heather Dennis is a graduate of the professional actor’s training program from U of T and Sheridan College. She has experience coaching those who are new to drama, as well as those that show a serious interest and participation in the dramatic arts. Heather has been a part of countless productions, working as a leading lady, director or choreographer. She has had the experience of sharing both the stage and screen with amateur, budding, and professional theatre artists. Heather uses her training in different theatre techniques such as voice & text, movement, script analysis, clown, stage combat, and mask-work to encourage her students to perfect and expand their dramatic talents. Heather is also a dance teacher and drama coach at Moving Art, in Barrie.
